Q. Who needs a visa to enter into Syria?
A. Most
travelers require visas to enter into Syria.
You CAN'T enter into Syria if your passport has an Isreal Entry Visa. If
your pasport shows evidence that you were in / or planning on going to
Isreal call our office and we will help you.
Nationals and Residents of TAIWAN and ISREAL are NOT permitted to travel to
Syria.
Visas are required by all except nationals of certain Middle Eastern
countries.
Q. When should I apply for my visa?
A. Syria
visas normally take 7 business days to process, however we recommend you
apply for the visa 2 to 3 weeks before your travel dates. The consulate of
Syria may delay processing applications while awaiting approval from it's
ministry of foreign affairs, if this is done it could take 4 to 6 weeks for
your visa to be approved!
Q. Validity (How Long Will My Visa Be Good
For?)
A. Syria
visas are valid for 3 months from the date of issue. That means you have 3
months from the date the issue is made to go on your trip to Syria. If you
do want to go after this 3 month period you will need to get another visa.

Note: During the holy month of Ramadan working hours are usually reduced.

sites in Syria ?

Well, Syria is very rich country with ancient sites, not only archaeological
sites, there are also the beach, nature, mountains and desert. The most
import archaeological sites : Bosra, Palmyra, Crack des Chev. , Ommayad

Also
if you like
the beach, you can visit Tartus and Latakia and some other more coastal
cities.
