Al Qunitra
Quneitrah, or Quantarah means a passing point to and from Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. It's famous for its Abundant Water, its flowing sources that fall into both the Yarmouk and Jordan Rivers. The ancient man lived there since the Stone Age, and traces of him were found in many places. The Assyrian documents confirm that it was a part of the Amorite state in 2250 B.C, followed by the civilizations of the Arameans, Assyrians, Caldaneans, Persians and the Hellenistic. In 106 A.D, it became part of the Arab State during the Roman period.
